Getting from El Poblado, Medellin to San Carlos by bus: From North Terminal (la Terminal del Norte) in the Caribe metro station, take the bus in la Taquilla 10 Coonorte or in la Taquilla 7 Transoriente, which travels directly to San Carlos.
Getting from Guatape to San Carlos by bus: Guatape is just 1:30 hr away from San Carlos. After visiting Guatape, you can take a bus to San Rafael and there another to San Carlos.
